LRBT’s 58 millionth patient, Hajiani, a young girl born into a farming family in rural Sindh, is the third of five sisters. Growing up in a rural area with no access to education,Hajiani had always dreamt of attending school, however there were none near her home. Her desire to study was also hindered by congenital cataracts, which impacted her vision.
