Under its ongoing partnership with Sightsavers, LRBT is responsible for delivering 1,500 cataract surgeries in Khanewal and 500 in Mansehra by the end of December 2025. In the current reporting period, 375 surgeries were completed in Khanewal, raising the cumulative figure to 750. Meanwhile, 126 procedures were performed in Mansehra during the same quarter, bringing the total completed there to 252. As part of the Pakistan Institute of Eye Health (PIEH) initiative, which is being implemented with the support and guidance of Sightsavers, LRBT is collaborating with a partner organization to organize twelve screening camps across selected locations in District Khanewal, as identified by the Sightsavers team. In the April–June quarter, four camps were conducted, leading to 106 sight-restoring surgeries. To date, a total of 175 surgeries have been performed under this project
