In an effort to alleviate curable blindness in the Province of Sindh, a grant of Rs.80 million was graciously awarded to LRBT by the Government of Sindh for the fiscal year 2021-22. We are required to perform 15,009 sight restoring cataract surgeries at all five of our Sindh Hospitals over a period of 12 months. Despite frequent lockdowns and restrictions, we have been able to conduct 3,752 surgeries meeting our target for this quarter well before the end of this month. We are grateful to the Sindh Government for their continued support.
